October bag credit donations are going to Maui Food Bank, here's why...

Mana Foods is proud to support various local non-profit organizations through our Bag Credit Program, and during the month of October we’ll be raising money for Maui Food Bank!

This incredible organization’s mission “is to help the hungry in Maui County by collecting and distributing food through community partnerships” and we are 100% on board! Every month, Mana Foods donates to different organizations. It’s really easy: whenever you bring your own grocery bag to Mana Foods, you receive a bag credit. You can donate this or take it off your bill. This month, your donations will go directly to helping the Maui Food Bank!

“The Maui Food Bank is Maui County’s primary safety net for hunger relief. The Food Bank serves 27,000 people a month who are food insecure. Of those served 40% are children and youth. Working with over 120 partner agencies, the Food Bank distributes safe and nutritious food to individuals, families, kids, the working poor, seniors on fixed incomes, the homeless and anyone who is at risk of going hungry. This includes people in need living in the rural communities of Hana, Molokai and Lanai.” -MFB

Mana Foods is so proud to give back to the Maui Community that we love so much, and are so grateful for your contributions!

By saving bags, you help our ‘aina; by donating credits, you help our community! Every little bit helps and can add up to make a big difference!

Remember to bring your own grocery bag to Mana Foods to receive a bag that you can donate or take it off your bill.
